Business Description
Mobile Crisis response is available to any Hinds County resident who is experiencing a mental health crisis. Individuals do not have to have an official mental health diagnosis to receive Mobile Crisis services. Anyone who is concerned about an individual who is experiencing a mental health crisis can request assistance from the Mobile Crisis Response Team.
If an individual is an immediate danger to themselves or others the Mobile Crisis Team will utilize partnerships with law enforcement officers who are specially trained in crisis intervention. The law enforcement officers will assist with de-escalation and help transport the individual experiencing the psychiatric crisis to a crisis stabilization unit.
