HEART Community Response Teams (CRT)
7 days a week, 9:15am–11:45pm
Community Response Teams provide rapid, trauma-informed care for 911 calls for service involving non-violent behavioral and mental health needs and quality of life concerns, including calls involving the needs of people who are unsheltered, by dispatching 3-person teams of unarmed, skilled and compassionate first responders.
Goal:
Send the right response based on people’s needs and, by doing so, reduce law enforcement encounters and unnecessary emergency room use.
We have partnered with Georgetown University to help us continuously improve The Right Response. Please complete our brief survey to let us know your thoughts.
