Mobile Crisis Response (MCR)
Mobile Crisis Response includes six teams which operate from 10 a.m. to midnight, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
The Mobile Crisis Response Unit (MCR) pairs specially-trained Columbus Division of Police officers and Columbus Public Health clinicians to de-escalate and stabilize crisis situations, conduct thorough needs assessments, and connect or transport patients to appropriate resources. This includes referral to follow-up services including secondary response teams.
